I have a 1991 Firebird that i need the front ground effects for, I know where i can get two of them off an 88, but i have been told they wont work, any info??? Also if not anyone know where i get get them at???? and is there another piece that goes under the nose between the to ground effects? Thanks for any help you can be....

 

not sure what front ground effects your reffereing to for your car

you have 91-92 style

anythign else will not work period

then there 85-90 style

and 82-84

cant really mix and match without replacing everything or it will not look right at all

you need to find another 91-92 car or look on ebay or the parts wanted/for sale section and post there what you need

the problem you will run into is that 91-92 are the rarest of the thirdgens mainly because they were only made for two years and very popular so people hold onto them

try craigslist, ebay, this sites parts wanted/sale post, try the parts seller ads on the side bar of this site

like hawks or moderndaymuscle

worst case is call around to local junk yards

They were kinda pricey but,they are just VERY! hard to find in good used shape.
Rich,is the driver side piece still there?I see the p/s in your pics so,perhaps you might want to look at repairing the damaged ones you have.
And no,88 front pieces won't work on a 91-92.

FYRCHKN made his own, out of sheet metal. I think there is a thread about it, somewhere on TGO.

Try searching 91-92 front gfx(i made'em) or something like that?

dude,I think the 75 set will be the most popular!

I lived with missing pieces during the build of my car and it drove me nuts!!

 

the center piece is just an air dam.
As far as I know its still avail. new from gm.

and yeah,fyrckn is da'man!!!

 

That's what I'm thinking too. The first production batch will more than likely be just the $75 pairs, but I'll fab up at least a pair or two of the other ones....mainly because I want to try something out with my car.
