Re: my new car
What year is that car? Looks like a 82-84 sc to me?
Very clean looking ride you got there!
And yeah,I'm 1 of the guys that thinks the gfx would make the car even better but its your car and if you like it the way it is then just leave it alone and enjoy it.

Re: my new car
it's an 87 and i'm torn between the two body styles because it like the look of the z28 ground effects but it looks more muscley now cause it'll sit i little higher and when i swap in my 350 it will have a motor to match and what do you guys think about a 2 or 4 inch cowl induction hood

Re: my new car
I agree with him. I like the looks of the ground effects, especially the '91-'92 style. My first Camaro was an '87 SC like yours. I drove it for a year and saved up the money for ground effects and a new paint job and it really made a difference on the car. Be prepared to spend some money though because ground effects aren't cheap.

Re: my new car
gfx all the way. personally i think it gives it a more agressive look. im fond of the 91-92 thats whats goin on my 89. plus w/o the front lip it looks like it doesnt have a bottom jaw....

Re: my new car
Dont get ground effects. The sport coupes are cool with out them, gives them personality all the other million 3rd gen camaro's have them. But If you do get 85-89 ground effects. I personal dont like the 91-92 gnd fx.

Re: my new car
I think that car looks amazing just the way it is. but ya, im not really a fan of chrome rims, but for some reason they look good on that car.... ya its ur car, do what you want, but i like it like that.
Re: my new car
I'd leave the car the way it is and just ditch the wheels and get better ones. The car looks too clean to do a nose swap and add ground effects. If you did that then you are going to want to swap out the hood for the louvered ones.

Re: my new car
I also say leave it as it is, I think the base sport coupes (LT?) are getting more rare than the Iroc's and Z28's.

Re: my new car
I think you should leave it a sport coupe! I had an '87 sport coupe that was a $100 beater. It had the same stripes as yours... no T-tops, bashed in driver's door and rusty quarters.

Re: my new car
You wont find many T-Tops on a base camaro because they were an $900 option but if the car was a berlineta those were typically loaded.
