I've decided that I want a cowl induction hood on my gta. should I just cut a hole in the hood and bond an induction scoop on there? or should I try to trade the 4 vent hood for a non vented hood, that way I'm not ruining a 4 vent that someone might want or need?
or should I just say screw it, I've already got the 4 vent and go ahead and tear into what I already have?

I guarantee you could have traded that RA1 Hood for a Cowl hood pretty easily. That hood was easily worth about $400... Whoever bought it from you got a killer deal.
I would sell the GTA hood and just save up and buy a fiberglass one. I haven't seen any hood where the own actually added a cowl that looked good at all. Most turn out horribly.

thanks bully. and I know I let that other hood go really cheap... BUT... it got me headers, Y pipe, a radiator, two electric fans, opened up an opportunity to buy the original tranny out of my car for 100 bucks... and left me enough to celebrate my wifes birthday :]
so, in the long run, I could have got a LOT more out of it, BUT... the money now helped out a LOT

I feel ya on that. I am trying to get a 4th gen rear asap and I too have been letting stuff go cheap.
