On 91-92 Firebirds and Trans Ams with fog lights, there was a strip under the fog and marker lights on the front bumper that was a rough texture compared to the smooth texture on the rest of the bumper. This appears to be a black color from the factory. I am wondering what color of black this was exactly?

Was it simply bare black plastic, or was it painted? If it was painted, what is the correct OEM black color? Was it a flatter, charcoal black like the Z/28 headlight pockets? Or was it a more semi-gloss black? Something in between?

I would greatly appreciate if someone was able to provide a good description or example of this correct black color for me, or maybe even a name of that particular black.
