Looking for ss emblems but in the stock original thirgen emblem style.

who makes this emblems and was wondering how much they cost?

there was never a factory produced 3rd gen camaro SS. There may have been a dealer or something that made one but I have never seen one.

 

i know there wherent any 3rgen ss just lately ive seen a bunch of thirdgen camaros getting there emblems customised to SS besides having
RS,
IROC-Z
Z-28

all im saying is that ive seen a couple that say
SS just like the original emblems we got was wondering where they bought them at?

 

well I guess I've never seen the emblems you're talking about also I'm not sure if you want like an actual emblem or a sticker but what I would do is get a picture of the RS emblem and just modify it into an SS emblem. Once you had a picture you could easily get a sticker made and probably some place you could get an emblem made. I know that's not the answer you're looking for but I just looked at the classic catalog and I only saw emblems for 1st 2nd and 4th gen camaros and they were all the same font. Which I don't think would look right on a 3rd gen. Post up some pictures if you see them so I know what you're talking about. By the way if you want to go the route of having one custom made out of an RS emblem but don't feel comfortable with photoshop I could make it for you just let me know what you want to do.

 

Ive searched for those emblems too and couldn't find anything. Ive only seen one car with them. Had to do a double take. I was going to put some on my girlfriends 87' Z28 and see if she would notice

Not quite the same style, but the emblems from the SS Silverado might fit. There is a member using them IIRC, but I don't know his user name.

Hey vettsfan I can't see your pics very good but it looks like a modified RS emblem to me. I got a picture of the RS emblem and made it into an SS emblem let me know what you think maybe you could make this into a sticker and go right over your old emblem (not sure if the emblem is flat or not) but what do you think.

hey man i saw it a while ago when i was home and i was like thats sick but everybody i saw them with they had regular camaros nothing to really say maybe ss no hood or spoiler not even wheels except fot the one i posted pics with

when i go home im getting my 91 RS/SS camaro painted
SS hood
5in spoiler
wheels maybe some ss i got in the garage

 

If anyone actually wants these I can try to make them bigger so fozz could make a better sticker let me know

IDK... it just seems kinda wrong to put these on a thirdgen. Maybe if it was heavilly modified to beat actual SS's, but then it would still feel better to rock Z28 logos

 

I got the actual Chevy SS logo I cut it in brushed steel the quarter is for size reference

Don't mean to hijack the thread but out of curiosity, since there was no SS third gen Camaro, how would all of you think the factory would have equiped it if there was one.

As for me, I would say:

The SS badges
Same stripes as the 25th anniversary
1LE equipment as standard fare
Limited to Red, White, and Black color schemes
