Wheel well/ shock tower support replacing?

Has anyone replaced the driver side front inner wheel well/ shock tower support? I removed the 89 Formula from storage and noticed it has almost rusted through to let the shock bust through! I can't seem to find replacement panels or anything. thanks Mueller

I replaced that on my Camaro as well as the whole front radiator support. LOTS of spot welds to drill out. I got mine from a junkyard. They cut out everything from a portion of the firewall all the way across the front and part of the passenger's side frame rail.

Any other leads guys looks like the Johnny Dee's site is dead. You click the link or even go to the root page and it just asks for a password over and over again.

I think your only course of action would be to find either another car or a doner body with sound strut towers you can use on your existing body.

Bad Fix (IMO):

Good Fix (IMO):

Re: Wheel well/ shock tower support replacing?

I have the very same issue with my 1989 iroc convertible (rusted front shock towers) Surprisingly the rest of the car and undercarriage is rock solid. I found a restoration shop up the road that is gonna replace my shock towers for 500.00 a side.. I thought that was a good deal...
