Cheapest place to buy 86' Iroc hood louvers?
So was driving down the highway and goodbye to one hood louver! This looks bad, I have been looking around for a new set but I will not pay no $300 for them it's just highway robbery literally! I don't mind to pay money for something that's worth it but c'mon $300 nah, there must be a better place???

I'd try to find a "like new" replacement. 100 bucks for a used one on hawks website or try craigslist. other than that, junkyards. If you prefer "New", then it looks like they really charge 200+ for a piece of sliced plastic. yikes

Ya I have been to Hawks and $100 for one used one is far from a good deal. Ebay has only one set and they are new priced at $380 without shipping!!! This is retarded! Maybe I should quit my job and start just making these and retire at 30!

Which did you lose/fly off?? I beleive I have one, after my kids dropped and broke the other. Also they are off of an '86 as well. I bought a set of the 91-92 and am going to use them instead on my project. LMK

Re: Cheapest place to buy 86' Iroc hood louvers?
I have a set (both sides) now there are along way from perfect. I bought the hood to use on my 92 so i could put the Z blisters on it. They are a little faded and missing a couple of the **** on the back that the nuts thread on to, but I will take 50 bucks plus shipping for both. Like I say they aren't perfect but they are 300.00 either. Let me know if you are interested.

Re: Cheapest place to buy 86' Iroc hood louvers?
Dumb question:
I just bought an 84 Camaro that has an IROC type hood on it. There are only two small holes on the diagonal surfaces at the rear of the indentations. Will the 85-up louvers fit in these indentations? I.e., would I just need to drill some holes in order to install the louvers?
TIA!
