Steel Ram Air II

Any company make one? Would love to find one, because the warping of fiberglass really sucks.

I'm not sure of the overall quality on the fiberglass hoods that are currently available, but there is no reason that a F/G hood should distort unless it was made with questionable materials. The hoods we will be making will not distort.

ding ding ding! thats the key, cheap hoods with cheap materials = warping and short lifespan before cracking.

Re: Steel Ram Air II

I bought mine from Hawks, and people say that they make some quality pieces. Mine just has a few warped spots on it and a couple cracks. Sorta pisses me off.

My hood is over 6 years old and only has small paint cracks near the hinge mounts.
