I NEED OPINIONS FOR MY '84 V6 SPORT COUPE

okay so i have a 1984 2.8l v6 sport coupe in pretty good condition. I want to boost the appearance on the car massively and then i eventually want to do a swap (engine, tranny, rear end) and beef up the brakes and suspension... probably lower it a bit too. yes, its an auto . ok. so i just got new wheels on it. what do you guys think?

the paint on the front end isnt in good shape right now. so here is what i plan on doing int he next couple of weeks:
I just bought 86-90 iroc side moudlings and the 3 piece rear spoiler. I'm currently looking into getting the 86-90 iroc front bumper cover as well, and then its going to the body shop and i want to respray the car in a dark gunmetal grey... similar to the darkness of it now, but more silvery/grey than the sandy brown it has now.
what do you guys think? then maybe tint the windows at like 18% tint after the bodywork is done? opinions?

Do what you think would look good. Tint always makes a car look good, even if it's a POS Honda.

Where are the pictures anyway?

I had to right click and go to the image properties to get the URL, but wow man, that thing looks awesome. I think going a bit darker will look sick. Whatever you do to the exterior, keep them wheels. The polished lip contrasts well with all of the black.

Well, since it's not my car, I don't know what it needs. Why not pick up a used 350 TPI instead of blowing all of your cash on the exterior?

$1,200 from Hawks.. Even a higher mileage 350 TPI would be a huge upgrade from your 2.8.

I'm no master designer, but as far as exterior is concerned, have you thought about billet badges?

If you go with a darker paint, window tint, and combine that with the black wheels, it will have a bit of a "murdered out" look, in other words, too much black. Small details such as the polished lip, and a couple billet badges will do a lot towards contrasting the overall look, without making it look trashy, such as them obnoxious chrome wheel well trim things do.

I can't begin to describe how much I hate these things, since I mentioned them.

I really want to pick up a couple billet Z28 badges for the side skirts and rear bumper. They look even better in a brushed aluminum style.

http://www.billetbadges.com/

There's a few more that you can find on Google just from searching for custom billet badges.
