Cowl Hood pics 4&6" please

Trying to get an idea on what route I should go on my 89 and would like to see both if possible, side profiles would be great!

Thanks!

I agree. However, i would like to see some pics from the driver's seat to see how much of the Windshield these hoods block.

Not to sound condescending but do you have plans for a big block? Because if not I'd just stick with a 2 1/2". If you MUST have bigger though, 6" is just ridiculous and will be stupid when you've only got a 355 in your bay. I've seen it on a Firebird and it looks dumb when you're driving it around on the street, particularly when you don't even need that kind of clearance.

So cubic inch should determine cowl size? A high revving carb'd small block that needs high intake volume shouldn't need the clearance for a Victor Jr and 2" spacer? No, this is not a street car, so I don't give a **** about street driving..

I asked for pics, not opinions, I know I can get away with a 4", but would like to see the difference in how the 2 look in comparison. Not trying to sound like a dick, but over opinionated people **** me off..

Re: Cowl Hood pics 4&6" please

here's my glasstek 4", no way I'd buy any other brand hood after seeing how much nicer this one fits. Harwood, vfn, etc all can't come close.

and also a 6" would be ridiculous on that ride man, it's HUGE trust me. Sometimes I wish my motors were shorter so I could fit a 2.5" because it does block a lot of your vision to the right. Raced a few with 6" cowls and it's hard to see the tree when in your 5 point harness in the left lane. Just my 2 cents

buddy has a 3" on his red one IIRC

Love it man, looks great, that's exactly what I was looking for, as I was saying I can get away with a 4" but just wanted to see both, looks as though 4" Glasstek will be on the car come race season! Thanks!
