86 camaro iroc body and paint
they all!
this winter i have decited to start fixing up the body and get her painted.
i have spent the last few months researching the best way to fix my quarter panels and make the body last for as long as possible. i am a senor in high school so time and money is kind of a limit but im going to do my best.
shop- a 200x250 foot shop that my dad owns. he builds farm equipment
tools- access to about anything even a powdercoat system
i had the quarter panels cut off and the doors, hood, deck lid, quarter panels, and a few odds and ends sent to the sand baster. below are the pictures.
and btw feel free to give input if you see if im doing this correctly or not. keep in mind i haven't done much body work

yea i got the whole rear end because i had 27 spline axels and the 4th gen rear end had 28 so i swapped the whole rear end. the carrier would fit if u used 28 spline axels from a 3rd gen. the 4th gen rear end is about 2 inches wider on bolth sides. the 4th gen rear went in fine. i had no problem. i had it in for a while then i wanted to change from 3:42 to 4:10. so i had the rear end sand blasted and powder coated, i welded the tubes, put a trick flow stud cover on it and added lower control arm relocation brackets and adjustable lca

i fixed the rust by cutting it out and using the curve from a front fender. i had to put in a new key hole in . the po punched the lock out.
