hawks 5 inch spoiler... anywhere cheaper?

Hawks third gen sells a 5 inch spoiler kinda like a second gen one, and im going to buy this in the future, can't at the moment, but its gonna happen. I think it looks amazing on 3rd gen camaros. But this thing is 300 bucks, so I was just wondering if anywhere else is selling these but cheaper? I have looked and looked and searched and searched and can't find anywhere else... I can't do it at the moment but the cheaper I can find it, the closer that moment comes.

Re: hawks 5 inch spoiler... anywhere cheaper?

No one else makes one, so either make one yourself (good luck for under $300 and not have it look like ****) or pony up the $$$ and get a Hawks

I like the hawks 5in spoiler, but be aware: The hawks 5in is not a bolt-it-on-and-go kind of deal. Most cars will need a little massaging (Some more, some less.) to get it to fit and line up right.

If you mean the side pieces of the three part spoiler, then yeah it sure does. I just got mine on this week, and the sides extended just a wee bit to long, but other than that there where no fitment issues. And I must say, I love it! That paired with my new 2 inch cowl hood really gives the car that really mean old school muscle look, while following the cars body lines and styling and retaining that 80s futuristic look as well. Yeah this spoiler is kinda pricy for what it is, but I wouldn't have my car any other way. And im glad I didn't find some cheaper company because honostly the customer service and the product quality of Hawks is nothing short of amazing. After ordering the spoiler I purchased a few other things as well and I love their company.

Here's my baby. I need to adjust the hatch a lil, and I wish I hadn't gotten a hood without that ridge. By the end of the year I should have it painted red with blaack heritage stripes, and maybe window louvers.

The Hawks spoiler is well worth the money, you just have to enlarge your holes a little to get the fit right.

I would go with Hawk's. I recently bought a bunch of stuff for "project 92" and they priced it all fairly and I had it in two days, in Kansas! Great bunch of people.

Hopefully this will be my winter goal/xmas present for myself. I think this spoiler painted black, matching my black cowl hood will really set the car off. (too bad I really need a paint job again) damn.

You should get a carbon fiber One done. Also as for that other company don't buy from there my uncle purchased one for his iroc and he never got it.

adding a 3rd Brake like would be so easy. use a stock iroc one like I have on a shelf or find something a little bigger out of a different car. measure 2times cut once.

Im wanting to change the looks of my vert. I want a SS hood and the 5inch wing.
I have a 3inch cowl and 92Z wing now.

I agree you could fit a normal third brake light out of the stock wing into it. it just sucks buying something new then cutting it up.

I have a normal 83 coupe and I really want this spoiler but my car doesn't have holes or anything in the trunk to put this on. Can I still pit it on or how does assembly work for it

http://www.duraflexbodykits.com/1982...-p-279268.html

Seems to be the same spoiler, $239 + $79 shipping. through "Duraflex Bodykits"
However I'd rather go through Hawks based off their reputation (and price)...and it seems Hawks isnt charging shipping fees for the spoiler, can anyone confirm?...(so it'd be $299.99 flat) as opposed to $318.

I wonder what a 5" spoiler would look like one 'vert bird blended into the factory side caps... If the angle was just a hair shallower to better match the angle of the windshield glass I bet it wouldn't look half bad.

You have the exact two things I want. The Sunoco hood and the 5 inch spoiler. When I see the hood actually on a car I don't know if I really like it. Are you happy with it? Get compliments?
