91-92 front spoiler sag fix?
I know this has been posted before atleast once. I only found one thread and it didn't show too much.
My front spoiler hascracked down each front corner (which I plan on repairing someday), but I also want to figure out how to fix tha sag.
It is sagging significantly in the middle, and it is pulled away fron the bumper cover on each side of teh grill opening. (I will take pics and post them later tomorrow). I want to figure outhow to keep this thing up!

Hm, I was looking through some sites yesterday, and Classic Industries has replacement ones for not to expensive if it's the Z-28 front end, if you were planning on eventually repairing it completely, for 220 you could get a decent one now. And I don't have any experience in CI's Camaro parts, but my family has ordered quite a few large pieces in the past (Nova, Impala and Chevelle body panels and accessories) and have never had an issue with any of them.

Re: 91-92 front spoiler sag fix?
I've looked at mine and noticed that mine also shows a small gap between the GFX and the front fascia.
About 1/4" towards the centre, flush towards the sides however.
The only reason I can think of is that the baffle loses some of it's rigidity and allows for the spoiler to sag, whcih it gladly does due to the weight of the part.
Replacing the baffle should be the fix.
Before doing so however you could try disassembly of the complete front, fix any cracks in any of the parts, reassemble and see if it still sags as much.
If the car does not need to be 100% original, you can also reinforce the baffle.

I'm confused as to where that pic is taken lol. But I'll check next time I get a chance.

Wow thats bad...Looks like someone parked it against a wall for a while.
Ive been thinking of getting some bars(flat iron or something) to cut to my own length. Then using the hole on the bottom of the radiator(were the air dam mounts) and then bolting them to the holes in the bottom of the front spoiler so that it pushes the front of the spoiler back out.
Mine hardly has any sag but i was gonna do it to strengthen it up some in case I run over a animal or something. But in your case i bet if would fix ur problem.

That sounds like a great idea! Simple too. I may give that a try.

Just curious. Did you verify that all the fasteners that hold the spoiler to the bumper are in place (I haven't counted but I suspect there are six or eight across the length).

I know a few are missing, but I don't think the ones that are would affect this. I am going to try to brace it like above and see how that helps.
