Re: junk yard scores!
Today I paid $32 for a overehead console with the flashlight and a aftermarket t-top headliner for a camaro .
in the last 3 months I have got.
4 a/c delete heater boxes.
2 sets of iroc hood louvers.
1 set of iroc fog light.
1 set of 91-92 firebird fog lights.
1 set of 85-90 trans am fog lights.
1 wonder bar.
3 hatch pulldown assemblies.
2 CAMARO grilles.
3 pullout rear cargo covers.
a pair of chrome edelbrock valve covers.
a mint condition t-top bag.
2 camaro 5-speed shift plates in great shape.
1 trans am 5 speed shift plate.
a dual snorkel air cleaner, NO inlet hoses, I was bummed.
a A/C delete pulley..
and alot of other small stuff.
It pays to get to the yards when they just put the cars out.

Would you be willing to sell any of that? I need an AC delete box BAD, and I wouldn't mind having a working hatch motor lol

Yes I can sell some, I will get some pics for you and find a box to ship them in.
I would take $75.00 for the heater box and $60.00 for the hatch pulldown plus $20.00 for shipping for a total of $155.00.
Let me know if that works for you..
Thanks
Bob

Re: junk yard scores!
Today I picked up a complete set of front and rear ebony cloth power seats out of a 4th gen Firebird. They're perfect. No rips, tears, wear marks, dirt, or smell. The windows were up and the interior smelled like a new car. Everything in the car was meticulously clean. The whole set was $50!
Then I scored a perfect driver side fender from a 90 IROC for $30 to replace this crappy aftermarket one that I have on my car.

Re: junk yard scores!
Traded for a brand new forged 408 stroker crank and forged I-beam rods with ARP bolts in them.. my trade value was $350, and his parts were still brand new from probe totalling $1,300. Funny thing is he knew what he was getting, AND he was the one to throw me an offer. Needless to say, I was skeptical until I saw all of it in person. This happened this past weekend, actually.

Re: junk yard scores!
the best deal I got out of a junkyard was a 100% mint dash pad for 15 bucks the odd thing is the rest of the car was in terrible shape I have no idea how the dash pad stayed in such nice shape.

Picked up a complete heater box setup yesterday for $35
It's hard to find treasure's around here because it seems like everybody scours the yards on a daily basis

Re: junk yard scores!
My best score so far is the goodmark steel cowl induction hood that's on my 83 Z28. I've also bought a pair of doors, a pair of front fenders, rear hatch with the defrost, 2 ac delete heater boxes, 145 mph speedo, heater core that looked new, and a few other things I can't remember. The yard I go to hands out a punch card and after ten punches you get free admission and 5% off the next purchase. They told me I am the first person to get the free admission and discount....got that earlier this week. I've also scored a few cool parts for my 4x4, and other projects too.

That's good
But I am real happy 300$ for a 3000$ rear end is unbeatable
I don't think u know how much a moser 9 inch costs
