Who would like to see this Hood sold to the public??
Just curious to see if anyone out their would like to see a hood like this below made for the Firebirds(and Camaros). I did some playing around and i thought it would be different. Not to flashy and not "import" looking either.

It looks similar to either a.....
A. A closed 98+ WS6 hood
B. A split Jongbloed
C. Showcars Custom HiRise Hood
The lower center section is what kills it for me. Can't exactly put a taller intake under there.

Actually this a Twin mirrored image of a Power bulge Formula hood. Which explains the narrow front and widened back.
I thought about the center section too and Air cleaner clearence. I cant show it here but the center of the hood along with the bulges can be raised an inch or so. Going any taller then that might look odd. The factory bulges are about an 1 3/4 i think. I have to measure mine to see.
It would probably be best suited for TPI, LT1, and LS equipped cars.

Re: Who would like to see this Hood sold to the public??
I didnt built this one. i was playing around with the MS paint to see how it would look. I have been tossing around the idea of making a fiberglass hood as my next project. Since winter has set in, my Firebird is parked and my Camaro project is nearly completed.
I have an extra Power bulge Formula hood( black one pictured) and a base Firebird hood that i can use as a plug for the mold.
I had a previous thread on this site with a Poll question to what everyone would like to see for a new style fiberglass hood.

Re: Who would like to see this Hood sold to the public??
My choice would be smaller as a shaker hood, more subtle in height and width. It does have some nice lines and you must have a load of hours into it. The main thing is the porportions appear to big on that hood. Go more for aprx twice the size of a factory 6.6 2nd gen shaker.
I like your design and all the work it just seems to big IMHO.
