I wish I could've bought a 3rd gen new. I wasn't even born when they stopped making them.

Re: Fresh paint with an immaculate body

Or this one....1986 5 speed IROC with 900 miles BUT its not a TPI motor and DOESNT have T-Tops.

This is as close to mint as you will find...Only $30k on the buy it now! Considering inflation thats not a bad price!

Re: Fresh paint with an immaculate body

That 86 on eBay looks like a scam. First of all, the picture has been photoshopped heavily. The photoshop mods include the reflection off the floor but most importantly, the shade of the car under the passenger side bumper. It's not sharp and define but rather rounded like how a "soft brush" leaves its soft rounded mark. I would ask for plain pictures instead of going by the edited photo.

Yup. I saw that video last year. But how the heck did they get the IROC in there in the first place?

Video is a hoax, look at the Mopar in the front it looks clean no dust like the Camaro, and it had to be in there just as long, my opinion

You gotta remember that the Camaro was near the doors. The trailer is prety much air tight but there are tiny crevaces at the joints. My best guess is that since there is vertually zero air currents, that once the dust enters the trailer, it falls closest to the enterance,,,, onto the camaro.

The video is no hoax...The IROC find and what it sold for ($25k) are well documented on the internet as well as this site.

plus there is dust on the blue mopar in the back, you cant see it as well because the lighter blue hides it more so than black does

<3 that picture, I sure wish I grew up in the 80s lol. I like 80s music, and our thirdgen, and perhaps economy was so much better? Lol I'll rather live the 80s than our techomedia today.

Re: Fresh paint with an immaculate body

I hate looking at that pic - it gives me a bad case of the Iwants.

But I may be able to make you feel better too. I had a heart operation at 3 yrs old.... 46 years ago. Can you imagine the technology back then? And the quality of the rubber patch they sewed in there? I don't think I got a lifetime warranty either - or maybe I did?

Damb. Now thats some serious stuff there. When My son was 3 weeks old, he got a 103* fever. ARMY doctors thought he had Meningitis. So a LT who was in training didnt know where to insert the needle into my sons back. Me being a PFC, I told the LT to give the needle to the Major so that he can perform the spinal tap. My 3 week old son had a spinal tap and the results where negative. That was scarey because my wife and I had to sign a release form that basically said that if my son died from complications of the spinal tap, they werent liable for his death.

Tyler,
That car next to the black F-body on the left is a Monza (H-body), probably around '78-79.
