I have an 82 Z28 in the uk.

I have a problem !

It has no wiper transmission at all !!!!

I need to find the arms, pivots, wiper arms, blades and motor.

I cannot find them in the uk - the ones I have found are a different shape mount for the bulkhead panel.

Is there anywhere else I can try - is it the same as any other vehicle at all?

Parts are very limited over here

Can't find anything on eBay in the uk !
The 82 cars seem to have a different setup to later ones.
I got one from a 84 and it's totally different !

I'm in Surrey in the uk ????

 

......... don't look at the UK listings and find someone who ships internationally from the US.

No one seems willing to ship or doesnt have all the parts I need.

The hardest bit is the motor as I dont know what it should look like !

I think 82/83 cars where different to the rest - the bulkhead on my 82 car is different to my 84 car !

Any ideas where I can find some facts?

 

Not going to be any Big help, but here's my experience as far as motors.
Last spring I went to NAPA to get a new motor. The guy asked if it was a
" hidden or open motor ". Since I didn't know, he said to look at the firewall. A
" hidden motor " will mount **behind** the firewall under the plastic screen that covers the assembly that is in the cowl. An open motor wil be attached to the firewall just above the driver side valve cover.
Then he asked " how many wires on the connection ".
Again, I didn't know. I told him it has some wiper delay selections. But I don't remember how many.

So I went home a checked it and called him with the info.

I do not know how to determin which you would need. Sorry for that.

I hope someone can give more direct and detailed info!!!

 

Hi guys, tried again to get some parts today.
No luck all seem to be later style.

So next thing is a different setup.
Im trying for a mono wiper conversion - i know a bit ***** but what do you think?
