turning two into one

i have a 1991 formula, which i have been slowly working on a getting finished up with my ls swap. its operational now, and i was looking at rust repairs. looks like there are a lot of rust areas coming through now though. so rather than trying to patch up wheel wells and rockers and floors and on and on, i have found an 87 bird that is partially stripped down. so what all would be the same between the two? i am planning on taking the shell and probably rear suspension off the parts car, and hanging my rear hatch, front clip, and my interior on the 87 body.

first off, yeah i know it sounds nuts. but i really dont want to get 2 grand into rust repair, and realize (like i did on my impala) that i could've just got a new shell and been done cheaper.

i can probably get a lot of the stuff done on the stripped shell taken care of, and then the engine and trans swap isnt all that bad. i think ghettocruiser had to pretty much do this after his first swap car got banged up.

are the body shells different from 87 to 91? doors the same? i think the fenders are a little different. anyone have any advice about this before i buy a shell? thanks.
