Front spoiler help...already did search too.

Ok so I read a ton of posts about everyone breaking the brackets that you use to mount the front spoiler to the fender, but even after them being sprayed with PB Blaster and sitting for over 5hours being sprayed every 30mins, they still snapped right off and i didnt even try to turn them hard.

Anyone know where I can get some more brackets at? I have looked everywhere around where I live and no one has any even the junk yards.

I have a 91RS, but the PO put a 90 front nose and spoiler on it and I got a new to me spoiler but with no hardware, all I need to complete the replacement is the brackets.....

Is there another way to get around these stupid cheap azz brackets??

Are you talking abot the ones that hold the sides of the spoiler to the nose?

yea, i suppose so. Like you know how on 91-92 style they have the slits in the panel instead of the bracket..I need the bracket part of it.

I'm not familiar with that one Brother, on the 89 I just drilled out the broken studs and used bolts in thier place. Hope that helps.

The 91-92 style chin spoiler uses clips that are out of production. GM also discontinued the chin spoiler. I have three of them...for the right price I could part with one. I'm starting to repair them...
