Yep Duffster is right. It's not too hard either. I made my 84 Z28 look like the newer style. I swapped on the nose, ground fx and the rear bumper from an 89 . It all bolted up like it was supposed to.

Are all Camaro front ends essentially 100% interchangable? I need one for my 87 Sport Coupe, and I can get one for cheap off an 82 Berlinetta, but wasn't sure if it would line up. It's older but I actually like the look about the same. It has room for foglights which mine doesn't, and the license plate bolts right to the car rather than that plastic holder mounted on the front.

Yes Yellow, it will fit, but to warn you, the nose looks different...look at the turn signal recesses...those aren't on the 87 nose... looks different... 87...flat...82...recessed...looks different.
NOT GONNA DO IT...WOULDN'T BE PRUDENT...

Yeah, thirdgen noses constantly changed as they got newer. I'd still rather have an 82 for almost free off of a friend, then an 87 for $150 at the boneyard. And like I said, in some ways I believe it looks better. I rather like the way the license plate bolts right to the nose, and there's an opening for foglights on either side. The 87 just has a one-piece black grill across the front, with a plastic license plate holder attached to it. It doesn't matter to me, I just want my car to look nice again without spending an arm and a leg. What did you mean by "Not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent"? Thanks for your help/suggestions.
