Battery in the trunk?

Has anyone relocated there battery to the trunk? if so how hard is it and what is needed to do it right? Im making a homemade ram air induction system for my lg4 style intake and need the room where my battery is to run the intake hose into the fender wells.

I don't have my battery in my trunk but I've seen other cars with it done well. You need to get a kit from jegs or summit that's made for hatchbacks. These kits come with an air tight box so you don't get fumes from the battery and you vent it to the outside of the car. Thats the only way I know to do it the right way.

I have 2 recommendations. Get MAD Enterprises Battery Relocation Kit. Second, get a sealed type battery such as the Optima. Everyone has begun licensing the patent of their spiral cell design.
