I want a digital dash! Please help!

Ive got an 89 GTA. I want to install a factory digital dash in it. Where can I find one? Id also like to know whats involved in changing over. My friend said id have to change the ECM. I dont believe him. Maybe the sending units for the gauges I can understand. I hope its not a pain in the *** . I just finished painting the car black and the dash would really top it off! THX guys!

Check out http://www.tacreationsusa.com. I was there a week ago and they have a digital dash available. I asked about it myself and they said there's alot of modifications that need to be done to make it work.

sorry but it aint happening. You will need a donor car. It's a whole different wiring harness.

not worth it. Go get some white face gauges from Ryan instead.

I installed a digital gauge from cyberdyne sytems. It is not factory but is a perfect fit for firebird and camaro dashes. You can get one from jeg's or summit racing. There about 350.00.

I too was interested in this swap. It is a pain, but I talked with a guy who did it. He said the wiring harness has all the wires you need but you have to find them. Other than the dash then, you will need the sensors for the various things.

I have the Cyberdyne unit and I'm willing to part with it for a lot less than $350. All I need is a 140mph speedo and gauge cluster in exchange. The only problem with my digital display is that the speedo isn't working. There's supposed to be some kind of calibration box that I can't find. Otherwise, the tranny mounted sensor is there and all the rest of the gauges work perfectly fine. Yeah, the stencil on the LED that should say OIL wore off so it lights up as one block.

I have an 88 trans am with a digital dash and gta body kit + gta rims. I think the digital dash sucks i want a regular one. when your going fast or racing (when you need to keep your eyes on the road )its to hard to see your speed or rpm's also its hard to see when its bright out (and i have 0 tints on the sides and 5 on the rear)but you know they say the grass is always green'r on the other side.
