Makes me wish I didn't buy my vette :/

Really wish I would have found this before I bought my vette....Would have been a fun project with all the money I would have saved.

I would have saved about 4200 on the vette. My father does paint and body so that would have been no problem. That would just leave the interior, motor and tranny. Theres a pull apart here in tulsa with tons of 3rd gens that have nice interior still. Just saying that it could have made a nice project for my father and I.

It would have been a good project car.. I think with a decent paint job and a little TLC it would have been nice.. I would be concerned when he listed the internals being rough.. I hope he meant internals like the carpet, headliner, etc and not the engine internals..

I assumed the interior haha...I don't think he knows anything though because he says it has a 2 brl on it but in the bottom pic, it looks like a 4 brl.

You couldn't pay me 4,200 and give me that firebird for free in exchange for my vette, and I'm in the process of getting rid of it right now...

He must have changed the post because it now says interior but I must agree it does look like a dual feed 4 barrel carb. If I wanted another I would consider buying it but it would need close scrutiny in person though and then probably trailering home.

Well yeah, I'd definately have to look at it in person, I was passed by an Autoform T/A yesterday that had the same paint pattern (looked a lot better of course). I think I would have kept the original color if i had an Autoform though.

I beg to differ...although this is certainly one of the least desirable 3rd gen's I've seen, I'd still take it over some of the ratty 84-87 Corvettes I've seen....
