Replacement help

OK I have a 85 firebird and some of the panels and parts need reparts or replacements. I am thinking about putting different body parts on to replace the cracked ones I now have. How hard is it to install a bumper cover from like a 84 trans am or the rear light assemble of a GTA. These are the two parts that I can get my hands on cheap that I like so far. Thanks for the help

Welcome to the boards..Many people on the boards like to get their used replacement parts from www.tacreationsusa.com. New pieces can be obtained from www.classicindustries.com or www.nextgenparts.com
As for replacing the nose, its pretty easy, just a matter of finding all the bolts to undo. Some you have to take out from underneath.
Just remember while any nose will bolt on, the ground effects will only line up with the year of the original nose.
So an 82-84 nose will not line up with the ground effects of an 85-90.
Hope this helps

Ok thanks I know about the ground effects but the only sets I have been able to find are cracked from the car being side swiped or totaled. I would like to find the matching gfx but junk yard diving localy is about all I can afford at the moment. Thanks though for the feed back now I know the task is alittle less troublesome.
