A month ago my leather interior out of a 98 t/a arrived - without the seat back. Turns out the seat back had a nick in it, and the seller wasn't happy with it. He asked if I minded if he tried to find a suitable substitute for 30 days, which was fine with me.

30 days later, the seller called. Nothing new had arrived so he was shipping the seat to me. He told me that if I wasn't happy with it he would take it back and refund me everything, or would keep his eyes open and swap it if another one comes in with the same color.

It arrived today. For the life of me I can't find the nick. Like the rest of the interior he had already sent, it is perfect.

I'm very pleased with their service. For virtually new 4th gen seats with 6-way power adjust and dual lumbar, front and rear, in tan leather, I paid $300 plus shipping. (if you want charcoal they are more expensive because the demand is higher apparently).

I won't get to install for a month or so but I will post pix when they are in.

How much did you pay for shipping? I live in NY and found somebody selling Gray leather seats from a 2000 TA w/16000 miles on it for $350. The problem is that the guy is all the way in Texas. I dont know if i can trust a guy like this. I have never done anything like this before. What should I do? He said he would do COD...but i would have to pay the shipping costs. How much would shipping be from Texas to NY? He said he has no pics of the seats now. Should i trust him? Also, should i do this with some private person...b/c i dont think he is from a junk yard or a auto place. Is this a reasonable price? What would you do? Can i get a set of 4th gen seats for cheaper? Please help. Thanks. Also, what happens if this guy sends me the seats and they are all ripped and torn. I would do COD...but still i would have to end up having to pay for shipping. I am confused. I dont want to get ripped off. Should i just go to a well known place such as the one in this string? Or should i go to thirdgenresource.com? I need some input.

Bird67, Um I just called there asking for Richard, and some lady told me I had the wrong number?!? I had the right #, she said Lamberts when she picked up the phone. I told here I was looking for a set of leather seats, and she told me I had the wrong number again. Whats up with that???

 

yeah, lamberts rocks, i got my rims from them. i was totally satisfied. when i get some more $ im gonna get my 4th gen seats from them too.
