Will the interior plastics from a '91 TA fit in an '83 TA?

I have the chance to buy the plastic pieces from a '91 TA. I need the plastic pieces from the trunk, the cieling, etc. I do not need the console or dash. Will the plastic parts fit? They are the pieces that are in the interior that the speakers are in in the back seats. I have an '83 with t-tops. My question is, will the pieces from the '91 fit as long as it has t-tops as well? Please let me know. Thanks.

Some of the stuff will work for you. The side panels next to the rear seats will have slots for the shoulder belts in them. The piece in the very back and the piece that attaches to the bottom of the hatch will have openings for the suck down hatch. Everything else should be the same. However, it sounds like that's the stuff you need most.

But how would they look with the small slots for the shoulder seat belts and the small holes for the vacuum hatch? I am looking for something that will replace my interior plastics that are in really bad shape. These are in great shape, and are the color I want. The only problem is that I am not sure if it will fit right. Will it? Will it look that bad with those holes? Let me know. Thanks.

I would just go all out (assuming i had the money) and buy some seatbelts too. I've never done this though, so i dont know if there is a welded mounting bracket for the seatbelt to bolt to.

Sounds good. Now for all the pieces, except a few, which I dont need, the price is $100. Is that too expensive? Should I spend that much, they are really hard to find all these pieces, especially in black. Thanks. I will try the seatbelts too, and if they dont work, then I can make a dummy pair, just to fill in the empty slots and keep it from looking like ****. Well get back to me. Thanks.

I won the auction. I ended up paying $160. I hope they fit nicely. The guy that I bought them from, who owned the salvage yard, said they will fit all firebirds and camaros with t-tops. They are black and are in really nice condition. They look a hell of a lot better than the ones in my car. I want to try to customize the shoulder straps in my '83 TA. I cant wait until I get the parts in the mail.
