what's this door part called?
I was trying to figure out why my doors crunch and pop when I close them. The round piece on top of the pin is bent up. Is that a pin that I need? Or just a bushing that goes on top of it?

Its the door detent roller. New ones are around $11.
Very common for those and the hinge pins to go out on these cars.

Also after looking at the pic you may want to check the retainer pin on the notched bar that runs on the roller. Looks like it may be bent or giving way.
