Anyone changed speedo gears?

I'm convinced that my rear end gears have been changed as my speedo is underreading and I've eliminated everything else. I've looked at the article in the tech section but an not completley sure how to change the gears.

The article refers to 2 gears, the drive gear and the driven gear. I presume that these are both located in the speedo itself?

I have the 145mph speedo, where are the gears located and how do you get to them? Is changine the gears a fairly easy job?

Thanks for the time

Robert
