If they're like Firebirds, the fenders will bolt up, but they just won't have the mounting locations for the 91-92 ground effects.

Re: 85-92 compatibility?
the camaro bumpers are the same from 85-92
the 82-84 had a specific bumper
the rear bumper is different from 85-90 the 91-92 is a newer style but bolt up to any year 1/4s provided you buy the correct 1/4 panel ground effect
now the fenders are specific 85-90 and 91-92 the difference being with the front spoiler and how it attaches. 85-90 it has two bolts and two holes. the 91-92 front spoiler has a "flap" with a hole in it where a retainer type clip fits in holding the spoiler to the fender. now you can modify a 85-90 with a grinder or anyway to make a slit --------------------- approx that long about a 1/8" wide x 2
hope this helps

Re: 85-92 compatibility?
if 85-90 fenders are interchangable, the facia ( noses ) are all the same ? p/n 16503496 in my 1990 dealer parts book, and if that's so then all hoods would be compatable ? or would I likely encounter different hinge and support mountings?

Re: 85-92 compatibility?
Hoods will all fit the same- however, I'm not sure if the way the blisters mount is different than the louvers mount on the 85-90.
From tearing down several different years of parts cars, the hinges are the same.

Re: 85-92 compatibility?
thank you, my iroc hood is a little crumpled on the leading edge, If I could find a plain RS or standard hood I might just swap for it, no matter how well I washed and rinsed the car it always had dust trapped under those louvers, annoying. I may just repair the existing hood fill in the louver mounting holes and paint the naca molding detail black, also I think I saw some of the years used decals ? thanks for your quick reply I am on my way to the junk yard to pick up a fender, dern teenage daughter..

Re: 85-92 compatibility?
thanks for the reply, I am going to see if I can straighten this one out, if I do then I'll have to find the drivers side louver, dealer here said no longer available from GM
