Ohio carpet VS ACC

Has anybody used the OHIO brand carpet?
I was quoted a great price on it, but need some feedback, is it molded like ACC?
Does it come with the backing & all?

I've used the ACC & was happy with it, but the Ohio is like half the price! Anyone got it?

I just read an article on the Silver Streak Camaro that one of the mags built a couple years ago, it's the brand they used.
I think I'm gonna try it.

my dad's friend works at a place called OHIO Auto Mat. Maybe OHIO is the brand they make. They use carpet and mold it there. They were used in at least 2 super chevy projects that i know of.

I bought some Ohio mat from Summit about a year ago and it SUCKED!!I layed it out in the sun for a few hours before I installed it and it still wasen't molded much.I had to trim the hole around the console alot. When it was layig flat it barely had any mold to it.The padding was very thin also. Not even close to OEM spec.So now I have a $110 tarp.If I were to do it again I would spend the extra $ and get something better.
Just my 02

Thanks Steve, I thought I'd heard something like that, but wasn't sure. How did it fit after you got it in tho? Did you ever get it to lay down right?

I haven't had any problems with any of their carpet, but i guess i am sorta biased since like i said, my dad's friend owns the place. I get it for free anyway, and you can't beat that.

So could you get a GP going?
Or a wholesale price?

E-mail me, & thanks for the replies!
