e36 headlight swap completed!!!
i am proud to say that ive completed the bmw e36 headlight swap on my 84 camaro. and i did it without cutting my hood or even the radiator support! everything only took 2 days. it was actually very easy.

the zipties arent holding the light on at all, they are there for a temperary solution to another problem. as for the wood screws and brackets they will be replaced when i think of some other way to hold the lights on that is a more clean "stock" looking solution. the point is, that i just did this swap without cutting into my core support which so many before me did, compromizing the structural integrity of their car. I was thinking about just kind of making some kind of plate to go on the top of the lights for a flush look on top. then maybe install a way to adjust them, even though they light up the road just fine right now.

I want to do this conversion because I think it looks really smooth but i still don't understand a way of mounting them. And do you have to cut into the radiator support? Did you use the EURO or USA version?

Im in the same boat as no one ever explains how they mount them at all
At least it seems like you didnt have to cut the support at all or the headlight bezel either. How did you do that?
