Can i paint my own gloss blackk racing stripes myself for under $100???

I want them to be durable and look professional,I am a extrmely good artist and can mask the area off 100% perfect striaght even stiprs,I just want them on the hood and tail lid Z28 style and the louvers are also coming off and being respayed gloss black but that is the easy part I would rather that then several hundred more dollars having someone else doing it!!!!!!!!

Sure you can do it, if you've already invested in the spray equipment, such as a compessor and touchup gun. Black will show any imperfections, so your prep work must be perfect. Other than that, it's all sanding and buffing. (In a nutshell )

to be honest, I've seen stripes spray painted on, that looked professional

yes you can use spray paint. But not any spray paint.

Go order VHT gloss black caliper paint from Summit. It's self priming so that eliminates some of your future worries. The stuff is durable as hell by the way.

when u said it primes it self, are u saying that u just tape the **** outa ur car and just got at works and make sure its even and then let it air dry?! THATS AMAZING!

You can get the VHT caliper paint through Summit. OR go to pep boys and they sell something just like it. Actually, it's exactly like it, I've used it. It's in the "rice boy" section at pep boys.
