I would assume that your post was in reference to me. I did not see any posts that reference this subject (though I did not go back more than a couple of days). My suggestion would be not to read the posts that don't interest you or that you do not want to answer. I appreciate all of the help and info I have recieved on this board and I am sure that there are many people like me who either don't have time to read through all of the previous posts to find information or just don't go back far enough. I also feel that while the basic question may be the same, the situation may be different. My question for instance refered to power seats and I did not know if the floorpans are the same between 3rd and 4th gen's. Again, Thank you and all of those who take the time to answer the questions of others.

Mark,
I wasn't trying to flame you or put you down or anything like that. If thats how you interpreted my post then i apologize. It just seems that this qustion gets asked about twice a day. Run a search on the topic and find out how many posts there are about it, trust me there will be tons. And in most of them, there is someone getting pissed off about having to answer the question over and over again. Putting a note at the top of the forum would save the time of having to ask and answer the question, which IMO would benefit everyone...

Before the "rebirth" of this site we had a banner up top for newbies and such with answers to the most frequently asked questions. I forgot how it was stated but it was very clear. Unfortunately nobody still used them. Again not a flame towards new people but so many questions have been answered in detail in the past it's a shame so many refuse to search for them.

this really was a pretty bad post to put up. I agree that people do post a lot of questions about 4th gen seats fitting in our cars. I asked the question a couple of weeks ago too. If we are going to take the time and the money to put the effort into our seats and our cars it is a necessary question. The information does change as new people put the parts in their cars they have more info to give so a repost is necessary occasionally. The 4th gen seats fitting into our cars isn't the only question that you'll see repeated. go into the appearance forum and you'll see a million posts to look at people's cars, go into power adder and you'll see 1000 questions about putting a turbo or supercharger on our cars, go into TBI forum and you'll read trillions of questions about running a 305's tbi setup on a 350 and what would be needed to do the swap. In the appearance forum again you'll read tons of questions about installing a headliner.
Questions and posts change with the seasons. If your tired of repeatedly answering a post, then don't bother answering anymore. Especially in the Body and Interior forum where (to me) there only seem to be so many things that you can post about repeat posts are going to happen and they will happen frequently.
I don't mean to **** anyone off, I get tired of answering the same question over and over too, (for everyone that wants to know if you put in a 350 and want to keep the TBI setup then you need to replace the knock sensor, module, and put in 65 # injectors.) but this stuff happens. We all benefit from everyone elses experiences, write a tech article about putting in 4th gen seats with power controls, maybe then people will stop asking...
Thats just my .02 cents... well maybe my $25.95 after seeing how long it is...

Well Karps TA prety much answered the why not part of my post, people wont pay attention to a Frequently asked Q's page anyway, so i guess thats why we don't have one. Its ashame people didn't use it, because then many of the repeat posts would dissapear, and only new questions and confusion type things would need to be asked.
Mike, i agree that this may not have been the greatest post to put up. So im gonna delete it before it gets out of hand. I appreciate everyone who responded keeping a fairly level head about the topic, and again, i did not mean to offend anyone by it.

When I do the swap to 4th gen power seats, I can take digital pictures and try to write a Tech artical to post. I know I have printed out a bunch of the tech articals that I will use and put them in a binder so I can be more organized. Maybe that will help with the frequently asked questions?

I wish people would use the search a little more, but it's easier to ask then do the research. Enough said...
