Car is at paint shop!!

I just startes working at this hot rod place recently. Theyrestore any older vehicles. Im only there 1 day a week because i have to work at my other job. I only do mecanical stuff, im not a body and paint guy. But anyways i brought the 92 RS there last week. I stripped it down enough for them to paint. Windshields out rear hatch is off fenders doors hoodbumpers all light and weatherstripping is off. Speaking of weatherstripping. He gets killer deals on parts. I got a complete ttop car weatherstriping kit for 261.00 plus s&h. I thought it was a great deal. If anyone needs anything let me know. But i saw this 3rd gen on here and i love it. Im gonna do mine just like it. Its viper blue with white stripes. I see he has an outline on his stripes ive seen some that are solid but thats what i gotta figure out still is if i want solid stripes or have the outlined kind. Heres a link of the car i saw. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/auto...iper-blue.html

IMO ,stripes without the outline just does not look finished to me. That car in the link you showed is really nice and I like the color but I don't care for the stripes going all the way down. Just on the hood and rear deck is what looks best to me. Most round the edges in the front but I chose to use sharp corners. Its all in what you like. Congratulations on the new paint.

If your referring to my car I have a link to install that IMO has some killer photos but I do not want to add it to a reply without "camaro211z28" permission. I don't want him to think I'm interfering with his thread.

I agree, our cars just dont work with full body stripes AT ALL. Also, your car is the only car Ive ever seen with stripes that looked great on a cowl hood. You did a great job with that.

Re: Car is at paint shop!!

I appreciate all the compliment guys,(thanks for the complement InfernalVortex). Its my daily driver and I keep it under a carport. Its my first time working on a car as much as I have with this one and Ive been hooked on this car from the very first . I had to save for almost two years to afford the paint. My friend (painter) said he would not touch it for any less. His way of pushing me to get a top of the line job.
