Door closes but still have issues.

I had a fellow member check my door for play in the hinges and they were fine. When i close the door with the window up it hits the top of the drip edge of my ttop. There is a small gap at the top half of the door too. what could cause this?

I had the same problem I believe. Except for the door gap.

There are adjustments that allow you to limit how far up the window goes.

Here is a picture I took and labeled, when I had my door all apart. It has been a while but I believe adjustment number 8 and 3 limit how far the window can be rolled up.

I know you said the hinges are OK but,I think your hinges are your problem,it sounds like your door is falling to the point were it is hitting the striker low. These doors are really heavy!!!

Re: Door closes but still have issues.

I had the same problem i unbolted the bottom hinge of the door and loosen the top one move the bottom of the door down and in youll have to take the kick panel off and the fender. Hard to do without two people one to loosen/tighten the bolts and one to hold the door down, up, to the side, in, out
