well honestly I just got this hood today..so Im not in a big rush to get em...since they are a lil pricey...LOL...I was also thinking of taking them off and shaving them off.....

I feel like Vin Diesel form FastFive jaja...and IDK I kinda like th eblack look on my car...but it wont gt ainted for a while...dont have enough $$ for a full paintjob.

I love the 82-84 hoods. I plasti-dipped mine, maybe you want to try that on your new one? It's still black but it looks much more uniform than spray paint and you can take it off when you need to.

Look into it. dipyourcar.com has kits and videos. They wash the cars they dip with a pressure washer and they use it on exhaust tips. For jsut a hood hitting up the local hardware store and getting a few cans is usually good enough. The thicker it is the easier it will be to take off later.
