Come on someone has to know how to take it off. I think I broke mine when I took it off so I want to know what the correct way is. And I have to take out those clips that hold the top part to the roof.

I wouldn't mind knowing myself so I don't break mine while installing my guage pod. Is it really that difficult?

Almost every pannle you pull off will have some small damaged. The best thing to do is get all the screws out, and buy a clip remover and pry as close as you can to the clip's.If ya don't have a tool put your hand in behind the pannle and push/pull out.

There are no screws on the Hardtop cars. There's no room to remove the clips while the molding is still on. When I have to reinstall it I'm going to probably cut the little clips off of the roof and buy new ones and put it on that way. I just don't want to break it more the next time I have to take it off.

I'll take a guess here. I think you have to somehow slide them forward.

Just pull it straight out. Pull towards the rear of the car. That's what I did and then it just slide right back in.

yeah, slide it toward the rear and pull down on the top part, then push forward and pull down on the front part. In theory it's simple, but good luck not breakin anything. oh, and it might be easier with the dash out.

a trim fork is usefull I took the top roll off the dash because they can get wedged in.then gently pull to peek in to see the trim clips then use your fork to ease out while pulling the trim towards you aclip at a time
