How much does a stock (steel) hood weigh?

How much does a stock (steel) hood weigh?

Just wanna know how much weight it would be. It feels very heavy!

I'm guessing above 50, the Fiberglass ones weigh somewhere between 20-30 if I'm not mistaken...

I could be wrong though, I'm just guessing... but the fiberglass ones were a good deal lighter, 25 pounds or something like that less than the steel

I don't know for sure, but the steel ones are HEAVY.

Even the stock 'glass one isn't real light, but if it were any lighter it would be weak and flimsy.

My factory hood weighed in at 65 pounds and the fiber cowl hood weighed in at 25 pounds.

just wieghed it, 75 pounds with heat shield thing, louvers and hinges installed.
