Light Bulbs

Does any know what bulbs go in the rear light assembly. Mine are all just about out and corroded in the socket.

Not all lights in the rear are 2057 though. Need the other numbers.

they should all be, maybe a 194 or two, but most should be the 2057 (or 1057 or 3057)

If your talking about the tailights there is one 194 in each corner and one in each license plate light. There is one 1 prong bulb(I don't know what they are called) in each reverse light. And turn signals are 1157 bulbs.

If you are talking about the 3rd brake light, then it is an 861 (about $10 each x 5). I just had to buy all 5 for my new '88 IROC, and the best price I found was $8.99

Reverse Lights - 1156
License Plate Lights - 194
Rear Side Markers - 194
Brake Lights - 2057
Turn Signals - 2057

For brighter results, use 2357 in place of 2057, and 168 in place of 194.

Blue502 - You can find those third-brake light bulbs at Radio Shack PN#2721177 for $2.12ea. Don't ask the sales people unless you have that part number, because they won't know what you're talking about and will refer you to an automotive parts store.

Trust me, they work, and they're just as bright.

Cool, I'll tell my worker not to pick them up tomorrow then (they are currently in will call). $10 is a **** of a lot less than $45. Thanks.

Awesome. I'm glad I could save you some bucks. I wish someone had done the same for me when I shelled out the cash for them at $10 a piece from Pep Boys.
