The paint is near! (1989 Iroc Z)

I have a couple of questions.

1) Should I install new weather strip before or after
2) Should I include the body work that needs to be done in the price, or should I fix it myself
3) What is a fair price to prime and paint an Iroc
4) Should I have them put the decal on before or after the clear coat
5) What are some things I should know going into this
6) How do I prepare my car for paint

This is the first car I am painting, However, any advice would be great as to what I should prepare for or do in this situation. Thanks!
