Problem with fender stone deflector- tire rubbing

So After a crash tjat crumpled up my left front fender, the left fender inner stone deflector also got mashed up good after said wreck. The body shop did a HORRIBLE job with it, looks like **** and barely attaches to the fender (thus looking like ****)

At first I thought my tire was rubbing on the passenger side but now I think the sound i was hearing was from this.

I tried cutting off the offending portion but it's still catching just in front of the little triangle section I removed, so more surgery is needed.

Does the shape of that thing look right to you guys? Or is it definitely warped? I ask because I don't want to buy another one of these to find out its still rubbing (And I thus have some kind of frame issue)

It has a lot of give, I'm able to push it in, so it doesn't feel like there's anything currently pushing it forward into the tire, so I hope its a simple fix by replacement
