Droopy Visors

Hey Guys,
I searched the entire sight and couldn't find anything on this. My visors droop down as I drive! Every bump or rattle they get lower and lower. If I hit a bad one on the highway they both go all the way down!!! Any ideas on how to tighten these Damn things up? It's a T-Top car. Thanks everyone!

Okay guys, I had the same problem with my driver's side visor. First I had them recovered when I had my T Top headliner redone. Then I bought some velcro. Instead of using the glue that comes with the velcro I used Superglue on each piece. Works perfect and you can't see it when the visor is up. When the visor is down, since the headliner is black and the velcro is black, can't see them then either. Velcro and super glue, cheaper than new ones.

I experienced the same problem. I finally discovered that the visor itself wasn't the problem, but rather the hanger. The bullet-shaped rod that inserts into the visor had broken free and as a consequence swiveled on the hanger, which meant that regardless of how tight the visor was secured to the rod, the visor drooped. Junkyard hangers for next to nothing and the fix was in place.

I also had this problem on every Camaro Ive owned. My solution was the hanger also. Remove the visor from the car. you should see a phillips head screw in the visor itself near the hanger. remove it and carefully pull the hanger out of the sunvisor(you may have to twist while you pull) There is a bushing inside the visor that you cannot access without tearing the visor apart, so go to plan B, switch the drivers side hanger with the passenger side. This way the worn out side is now the roof side, an angle of motion the visor wills= seldom see
