Anyone that has replaced their carpet...what kind of adhesive did you use? The only spot that really must be glued down is the carpet over the driveshaft hump between the back seats. I'm thinking of using weatherstrip adhesive. Reccomendations appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

I use permatex or 3M you can find it at any auto store. It is a spray that you coat both parts with then allow to set for 5min before pressing parts together. It has worked well for me. Elizabeth

What adhesive is best for a new headliner? To keep it from sagging.

Adhesive for carpet - NONE (it's been said, the seats, bolts and what nots hold in molded carpet). I've got picks of new carpet being slid in after a floor pan replacement on my web site.

Headliner Adhesive - Not over the counter sprays. My step brother and I did 2 f-bods with 3M and a couple of weeks later, the work was worthless (adhesive gave out). My father has recently re-upholstered 2 headliners beautifully with light coats of standard CARPET glue.... Light enough not to seep through the liner, yet it's tacty enough to hold as good as factory!

Many of us here are ameteurs here with different experiences and good input, this was just my 2 cents.
