Try picking up a new hinge pin with new bushings. Parts store should have em. They are pretty universal.

It should be relatively easy if you have a door spring tool. You can pop the springs out without one but it'll be a real big pain to get the springs back in without the tool.

Many of you remember me from my 1LE brake upgrade posts.
But another pet peeve of mine is the sagging doors that plague all of our third gen cars. The lower hinge pins, and bushings are relatively easy to change. But the real problem is the upper hinges. I had to replace both upper hinges on my '82 Z28. This job is a real bitch. I am a Master mechanic, and I will never do that job again!
You see, the hinges are welded to the door, and to make matters worse! The pins, and bushings are not removable. I have come up with a simple solution to this problem. A pin, and bushing set to replace the factory ones. I can have them available for about $62.00 per upper door hinge. It only takes about an hour to install them. Anyone interested? I already installed them on my IROC. Very nice to have the doors close like new again.
