something new on a hood.

So sometime ago I bought a "racing" good scoop and I am happy about it and brought a very unique look to the bird, what do you all think?

Not for nothing, but I'm just saying, it will draw attention from cops, provoke others into challenging you at a light. And frankly, I dont think the 2.8 can back it up.
It's better to have and not show, than show and not have.

Wow, looking at your sig, you are putting a lot of effort into that 2.8. Getting anything in return?
The scoop does seem like it can only attract attention to the fact that the car is slow and needs a paint job.

Re: something new on a hood.

looks cool, but the other replies have a point, I get challenged nearly everyday in my car, but try to keep it cool, don't need tix & trouble, this morning @ 5am @ red light on way to work a very nice blue 91/92 cammy pulled up & I was hoping for a rev, look, the young kid's car looked souped up, but no go, he drove mellow @ green. Funny thing, the ones that seemed hell bent on racing are the ricers & big trucks.....Enjoy your car cuz U can do what you want w/it!!!!

Thanks, It gets alot of looks but not really people giving me challenges. Yeah I'm planning to paint it later once I get some money. all the stuff I put into it actually has brought alot if difference compared to when I first got it, so yeah I've gotten power out of it,
