Ok I know you can fit a 4th gen console in a Firebird, Trans Am, etc. So what's up with it's chevy cousin. Anyone has one in a IROC, Z-28, or Camaro. Let me see.

 

n/m, I hear it cannot be done, since camaro's are a one piece, and firebirds are two, so its a direct bolt in.

that is true the console to the camaro is one piece and it's 2 one the 4th gen camaro and it won't work in the third gen, but would a 3rd gen console top piece from a firebird that holds the radio and the heater controls fit into a camaro allowing for the rest of the console from a 4th gen to be put in?

 

i'm trying to find out the same thing, i'm going to pick up a junk 3rd gen console and hack it up to see if anything can be done to make it fit
