Alright, I just wanna document what I remember to document. I have begun the body work on my car and will be posting all the body work, then interior work. Just for the record, and I am open to any advice anyone is willing to offer, this is my first time with body work, so bare with me. Also, any questions, I am open to those as well.
Now, my car was in ALRIGHT condition, when I got it, the passenger fender and nose cone was a little tore up, and some parts were misaligned. Beside that, it seemed alright.
And for the before pictures
Ttops

Driver fender unaligned

Rear hatch unaligned

Sagging/broken quarter ground effect, faded paint under gas cap

Hood unalignment

Nosecone/front ground effect scratched up

Interior rust

Wheel well rust

Damaged fender and nose cone

I am in Royal Oak, and its funny you say that, I drove it through winter last year. However, the main body is alright, only problem is a small hole in the drive floorboard. But no more winter driving since body work has started.

Oh, a straight nosecone, that's nice... Off a 25th anniversary you say? Oh that's cool too

Gotta get all those spider cracks out of there

Ahh, that's coming together

Time for some slick sand primer

Ahh so much better just in this primer!

After a couple hours of wet sanding and perfecting, its in primer sealer now! Got a little shine there, this piece is done

Slick Sand, as in polyester primer? Aren't you worried about putting a polyester over a not-so-rigid plastic?

Not at all. Everything was covered evenly, stuck on nicely, and by the end of the night, I say it was half slick sand half rattle can primer. Since I had to sand down to plastic in a couple of spots. But it turned out all good.

Re: Build Thread (Picture Heavy)
Be careful using 1k rattle can primer. That stuff is not recommended as a base with automotive paint. You did like I did by removing all the paint before primer and filler. I then used rattle can primer sealer to seal the metal. Since then I removed all of the rattle can primer. A lot of extra work. I go to paint the 14th of september. I have asked a few people and have gotten comments on TGO about it. Dont make the same mistake I did.

I decided to keep driving. Here she is right now. As you can see the front lip cracked a little. My buddy decided to use bondo instead of epoxy there. So I am going to have to go over it again. However, I am doing new headlights next, since I got a new job. Keep ya'll updated.

Re: Build Thread (Picture Heavy)
Update! So, I am purchasing a clean ttop roof area, so I can replace it properly. I am aware I have to support the car somehow when pulling this out, anyone have any tips?

You dont need no support if you are replacing the roof skin

Hood alignment is easy. The hood hinge bolts are slotted. Loosen them and get it where you want it. A lot of trial and error! I got mine lined up perfect. As far as horizontal, there are little rubber head bolts the hood sits on. It's a leveling game. Raise one, lower other... Eventually you'll get it sitting perfect! Just keep at it.

Thanks. It's the factory color!
The fenders are a little trickier. They are slotted but take some bending the tabs and "massaging" I finally got everything all lined up with a lot of trial and error (and cussing) but you will get it!!!
These are the worst gaps to get right.
