Have you tried heating it up a little then trying to scrape it off with a plastic putty knife?

That works great for 2 sided tape on metal but if you use it on your bumper it will damage it. Adhesive remover and a rag may do the trick.

Really? Never? I've had it happen a couple of times. Usually I'm painting the panel anyways so its not as big of a deal. If you use an adjustable drill its doable if you go slow, but its not something I'd recommend to a beginner.

The one ive been using lately is pneumatic and it will instantly gouge into the plastic. A couple weeks ago I used it on the tailgate of a Nissan Murano or a rouge, cant remember which, I didn't realize it was plastic until it made a pretty good sized gouge. Who make tailgates out of plastic anyways?

Sometimes I use it on my 12v Dewalt drill and its better for controlling the speed for bumper jobs but it will still gouge if I'm not very careful. Maybe I need to buy a crappier drill for the eraser wheel...

Yeah I've seen guys use those air ones but they are to fast for me and why you would make a tail gate out of plastic I don't know back around 02 Chevy made a farm truck that had both bed sides and tail gate was made of plastic
