Big interior redo pics inside(big pictures) carpet install....

Well I got my carpet today, and started to throw it in. It fit except for you have to cut the hole back longer so the Emergency brake works, and you have to slit it in the front of it so the radio wires can come back farther. Other then that it seems to be goin pretty well I got it from www.accmats.com I also used that vynlx stuff for the panels to clean them that JucinGTA posted about, HOLY $HIT that stuff works good!!! I wish I would of taken before and after pics of them thats how aswome it worked. Ill keep you guys updated just cause I like abusing the pictures

How easy have you found the job of replacing the carpet? I don't think it looks too difficult.

Also, how much did it cost?

K guys more pics
This job hasnet been really hard cause Ive been working on these cars for awhile now. The one thing Ive learned is Parts arent Cheap, and like my dad said a million times and it never went through my head but finally has clicked is If your not gonna do it right dont do it at all. Your always supposed to think before you do, I always thought about what I just screwed up!!LOL!! Now I make sure everything is correct before I screw it up. I dont have any power seats but im sure all you have to do is slit a little hole with a razor, no biggy. The problem I ran into now is they are too long and hang over the sides!! I called ACC and they said they do that just incase the costumer decides to pad the whole bottom that then fills it up, but if you dont have extra padding (by the way it does come with padding just not in all areas) then you will have excess hanging over that you can trim with a carpet knife or razor. Other then that its been simple, I let it sit in there a couple days to form a little better. This cost $290 with complete front and back with padding. Hello Jimmy

One more pic request for you. I am doing a carpet swap right now also, but i am leaving the back seats out. Do i have to cut a hole for the bottom metal bracket. the part that comes through the carpet. or will it fit good just going over it. Also do you have a pic of where the other seat mounts are. How ugly are they. Did you use glue when you put the carpet in?

hey 88 your first? no im just leaving it alone they should fit over it fine if it is molded. I did not use any glue at all it shouldnt be necessary. Before you put it in let it sit in the sun for a couple hours to stretch out.
heres the rest of my pics!! Im waiting on some pieces on the pass. side panel to put back on. I have to finish up the dash and Im removing the seats on sunday and steam cleaning them cause look how dirty they are. Mind that white bag its my harness pulled inside so i can paint the engine comp.
