I dont have the convinence of a cup holder so the only place for me is right by the seat belt buckle.

You could always get yourself a side pocket/cupholder unit from a 90-92 Firebird. They bolt to the Door panel/ Personally I don't much care for those because I kept bumping the one I had on my 91. Also it happens to be where I put my foot when driveing so it drove me nuts (no pun intended)

Your car came stock with 2, 4 if you have passengers, (beverage is held between the legs). I added the Firebird door cup holders. The door already has square holes on the inner door skin. Get the white plastic square plugs for these in the "Help" section of the Auto Parts store. I found them described as "license plate mounts". Then just punch the holes in the door panels in the correct locations with a punch or phillips screwdriver. It will hold a 7-11 Big Gulp! If you have manual window cranks your out of luck.

After a year and 40K miles in mine I can tell you, THERE IS NO GOOD PLACE. The door holders are too small for most cups and 20 oz. bottles don't fit either. I've tried at least 5 other types of holders and cups and none of them work well. I'm by myself most of the time so I just put the Coke bottle between the passenger seat and the console. Good luck

Only drink beverages in a third gen that have caps-or-watch 'em spill all over your interior!
